 Central Statistics Organization works in accordance with approved international statistical classifications in producing and using the official statistical number through :

 1- Law No. (28) of 1995 regarding statistics.

2- Executive regulations of Law No. (28) of 1995 issued by Prime Minister’s Decision No. (127) of 2007.

 3- Central Statistics Organization’s regulations issued by Republican Decree No. (233) of 2003 and its amendments.
