Today , Dr. Safa Mautee ,President of CSO , met  Ms. Abeer Al-Jalahma, Director of  Statistics and Databases Department at League of Arab States, to discuss ways of coordination and common cooperation between the administration in technical and administrative aspects, ways to implement programs and interventions in capacity building projects at CSO, and areas of exchanging experiences with other agencies.

They also agreed to overcome all difficulties and find ways to confront the existing challenges in establishing a database, especially  technical guidelines for monitoring and reporting on progress in achieving global goals in creating information systems for the population in all circumstances.

Dr. Safa Mautee expressed her happiness and gratitude for this meeting .. wishing continued success in the tasks of the Arab League as well as Ms. Abeer praised the Central Statistics Organization team participating in the current session and the possibility of supporting CSO technically and coordinating with similar agencies in the Arab countries. Beside that , the workshop was attended and a meeting was held with the heads of the statistical agencies in Syria and Sudan and a number of experts from international organizations.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Saleh Mahmoud, Undersecretary of  Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, Social Welfare Sector.
