President of Central Statistics Organization meets  Mr. Imran Nidhi, economic livelihood expert

 Today, Dr. Safa Abdullah met in the building of Central Statistics  Organization in the capital, Aden, with Mr. Imran Nidhi, an economic livelihood expert at FAO.

 The president of CSO welcomed Mr. Omran and those present with him, thanking FAO for continuous supporting for CSO and stressing on the importance of cooperation between CSO and  FAO in the field of agricultural statistics.

 While Mr. Omran was reviewing the importance of updating the livelihoods map that was prepared in 2010, given the long period of time and the major changes in Yemen, to benefit from the map’s outputs in the integrated interim classification of food insecurity in the country.

 The meeting was attended by FAO in Aden Mr.  Fouad Al-Bawad Mr.  Yassin Al-Humairi,  and from CSO part  , the General Director of Food Security Systems, Roaa Al-Saqqaf, Director of Agriculture and Fish Statistics, Samah Al-Jabri, and General Director of Data Quality, Eng.  Hassan Ibrahim, General Manager of Branches, Jamila Saeed, and General Manager of Data Processing and Analysis Eng.  Hussein Abdel Nabi,
