The President of Central Statistics Organization Prof. Dr. Safaa Mautee met the resident representative of UNICEF, Mr. Peter Hawkins.
During the meeting, a number of future trends in statistical work and in-depth studies of a number of topics were discussed in a number of results revealed by the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS). In the meeting, President of Central Statistics Organization appreciated the role of UNICEF in supporting building CSO capabilities. UNICEF representative was gratitude to Central Statistics Organization and its staff, for their efforts in the survey and asked for concerted efforts in completing the studies that will be conducted. The meeting was attended by Eng. Hassan Ibrahim and a number of employees of CSO, while Mr. John Paul, director of the organization’s office in Aden, and Mr. Ali Qasim, coordinator of the UNICEF office in Aden, attended from UNICEF.
