Monday morning , November 24\\ 2025 ,the Intentions and Solutions Survey of displacement camps in Taiz Governorate was launched . This important step aims to create a database on the intentions of displaced people, which will contribute to effective planning for sustainable solutions that meet their realities and needs.<\/h5>\n
The survey launched in the districts of Salah, Al-Qahirah, and Al-Muzaffar, under the direct supervision of the Director General of Central Statistical Organization, Mr. Khalid Alwan Al-Asbahi, and with a direct supervision from Dr. Safa Mautee, Head of the Central Statistical Organization, and the Governor of Taiz Governorate, Mr. Nabil Shamsan, and under the directives of the Prime Minister, Mr. Salem bin Brik. This reflects the government’s commitment to addressing the issues of displaced people and its keenness to provide appropriate support.<\/h5>\n
\u00a0The first phase of the project involved field teams visit nine districts representing the majority of camps in Taiz Governorate. These districts included the three main districts and Taiz City, as well as Sabir al-Mawadim, al-Masrakh, Jabal Habashi, al-Ma’afir, al-Shamayatayn, and Maqbanah. The teams began collecting the necessary field data accurately and professionally, in preparation for the detailed survey, which constitutes the second phase of the project.<\/h5>\n
The survey and data collection process is expected to continue for three weeks. It will involve gathering and analyzing data on the intentions, needs, and living conditions of displaced people in these camps. The goal is to develop durable and sustainable solutions that contribute to improve living standards and provide appropriate humanitarian and development support.<\/h5>\n
This survey is a crucial component of the government’s efforts to strengthen statistical and development work. Its results will contribute to developing well-considered strategies for addressing the challenges facing displaced people and supporting resettlement and rehabilitation initiatives, particularly given the complex humanitarian situation in Taiz Governorate.<\/h5>\n
\u00a0This project reflects the coordination and cooperation between different government agencies, and the commitment to work as one team to ensure the success of the survey and the achievement of its development goals.<\/h5>
