The Statistical Training Center at the Central Statistical Organization concluded, today, Thursday, a training course in (Economic Forecasts Using E Views) with the support of the United Nations Population Fund and within the framework of building the capacities and cadres of the organization and statistics departments in a number of ministries, from September 4 to 12, 2024 , in the presence of the Youth and Population Program Coordinator at the United Nations Population Fund, Alaa Ihab.<\/h5>\n
The participants, numbering 12 trainees from the employees of the Ministries of Finance and Industry, the Central Bank and the employees of the Central Statistical Organization, learned during nine days of training under the leadership of the trainer, Dr. Hoda Baashan, many knowledge and information about the main interface of the (E views) program, descriptive analysis and in-depth analysis.<\/h5>\n
\u00a0In turn, Ms. Jamila Saeed Ali Al-Jamhi, Director General of the Statistics Offices Branch, conveyed the greetings of the President of the Central Statistical Organization, Dr. Safa Mautee stressing her keenness and great interest in the course that aims to develop the skills of trainees from statistics and related entities and develop their capabilities and increase their information about economic forecasts using the E views program, each in line with the needs and requirements of his field of specialization, which would improve the quality of work and its outputs for the better.<\/h5>\n
She explained that the course focused on how to deal with all statistical problems in data when estimating regression models such as autocorrelation, multicollinearity, variance difference and model formulation errors, in addition to time series analysis, unit root methods, joint integration testing and panel data.<\/h5>\n
She stressed the need to transform everything they received during the training days into a tangible reality on the ground in a greater and more accurate way, emanating from new and diverse visions and ideas that can be worked on using the (E views) program.<\/h5>\n
\u00a0She appreciated the keenness and interest of the United Nations Population Fund in supporting such training courses that contribute to qualifying and developing the skills and capabilities of the agency’s members and statistics departments in a number of relevant ministries.<\/h5>\n
At the end, all trainees were honored with certificates of appreciation.<\/h5>\n\n\n
