Dr. Safa Mautee, the president of CSO, chaired the meeting of the Central Statistics Organization Council this morning at the headquarters of the Central Statistics Organization in the capital, Aden, with the general managers of the liberated governorates. The meeting devoted to discuss a number of issues and challenges facing the work of the branches and the difficulties they face in collecting data from sources, and the efforts made to improve the quality of performance of the employees of the organization.<\/h5>\n
\u00a0Dr. Safa Mautee, president of Central Statistics Organization, welcomed the general managers of the branches of the Central Statistics Organization in the liberated governorates and all participants, reviewing the efforts made within the framework of the organization’s work plan, the challenges it faces, and working according to an organized institutional work.<\/h5>\n

\u00a0Dr. Safa briefed the participants on the latest developments in upcoming work, including the maternal mortality survey in partnership with the Ministry of Health and Population. In addition to a number of programs that are being coordinated with relevant authorities. She also pointed out the most important challenges and difficulties facing the work of CSO, including some parties exceeding the tasks and powers of the Central Statistics Organization, which are specified in accordance with the system, law and regulations governing the work of the organization. They thanked the positive and fruitful interaction of the president of the Central Statistics Organization, Dr. Safa Mautee, and her keenness to activate the activities of the branches despite the weak capabilities, and to work according to an organized institutional framework. They affirmed working at a high pace and overcoming all the difficulties they face.\u00a0 The consensus resulted in a number of proposals and recommendations that will contribute to improving the work of the CSO and raising it for the better.<\/h5>
