Media Office of Central Statistics Organization

In Monday ,Central Statistics Organization conducted , at its office in the temporary capital, Aden, a training course for CSO’s employees in electronic archiving, which will continue from 19 to 24 August 2024 , with the participation of 10 male and female trainees.

* President of the Central Statistics Organization ,Dr. Safa Mautee ، welcomed all the participants, each by name and position , in addition to provide a detailed explanation of the aim of this training course and its importance , as it would improve and develop the work of CSO employees in the required and optimal manner.*

Dr. Safa said that the training course aims to enhance the capabilities of Central Statistical Organization employees and raise the level of their functional skills, focusing mainly on converting old paper archives into electronic archives that keep pace with technological development ,also urged all participants to make the best of the training and reflect all the knowledge, information and training methods they receive on the ground in a more clear and realistic way.

She indicated that the training course is , over five days, several basic topics, including learning about the concepts of archiving and electronic archiving, its importance and types, documents and information, and how to preserve and deal with them in the easiest ways possible.
