This course aims to build the capabilities of the specialized statistical administrative units in the ministries in the field of building social , population indicators and social protection based on the results of the multiple indicator cluster survey ( MICS).
In conclusion of this session, the President of CSO explained that this aims to build the capabilities of members of the unified statistical system in the country in the field of sustainable development, and that the rest of the employees of the statistical administrative units in the remaining ministries and agencies will be trained in an upcoming session, in addition to training the employees of CSO branches.
Dr. Safa stressed that this is not the only training course but there is a series of other courses that will be held for the team until the 17 goal indicators are completed in all ministries and agencies to form a team for building sustainable development indicators. Dr. Safa hoped that all trainees would have gained the desired benefit from this course.
The President of CSO extended her thanks and appreciation to the trainer, expert in sustainable development and gender, Mrs. Tahani Saeed Al-Khiba, as well as thanked the United Nations Population Fund for the permanent support in building its capabilities and the capabilities of the employees of the unified statistical system, whether in ministries and agencies or in CSO and its branches across all governorates.
As well as , the trainer thanked the President of CSO , and its staff, and the trainees for the endless interaction and response in this course and wished them success in their efforts in building sustainable development indicators.
Also thanked trainee Dr. Razia Basamad, Director of Planning and Statistics , for this important training course, and thanked the CSO, since the reactivation of CSO ,increase the interest of the indicator.
In conclusion, Mrs.. Hana Saleh Muthana, Director of Sustainable Development in CSO, extends thanks and appreciation to the trainer and trainees for their great interaction and response and the most wonderful discussions. This was then followed by the distribution of certificates of appreciation to the trainer and assistant trainer, and certificates of participation to the trainees.
