The president of Central Statistics Organization, Prof. Dr.  Safa Abdullah Mautee, met today at the building of Central Statisticsl Organization (Hoqat) in the capital, Aden, with the Director of Programs at the UNDP, Mr. Abdel Moneim Othman Mustafa. The president of CSO welcomed Mr. Abdel Moneim Mustafa , and discussed  relevant matters, the workflow, the current and future activities of CSO, and discussed for a future cooperation .  She also informed him of the strategy of Central  Statistics Organization to develop the statistical work and the national statistical system.

Mr. Abdel Moneim ensured for the importance of CSO’s role in building the database and praised CSO’s achievements and its excellent reputation, which he witnessed today during the meeting with CSO’s work team.  He stressed that the coming period will include cooperation with CSO in terms of the database and statistical capacity building

He toured the departments of Central Statistics Organization in Hoqat.  The meeting was attended by Mr. Walid Abdul Qadir Muhammad Baharoun, UNDP Coordinator, on the part of UNDP.
